Event Description

Second Life debut of a young rising star of the classical guitar from Argentina. In this program Federico will be joined by Ajax Ordoñez and Florencia Nogueira. Highlighting the program will be Federico joined by the Dúo de Guitarras Llere-Pracías, with an interpretation of the Bach Fugue X from "The Well-Tempered Clavier" arranged for three guitars.

ABOUT THE ARTISTs:
Federico graduated in 2007 from the Conservatorio Provincial de Música de General San Martín. During his studies he expanded his exploration of literature for the guitar with private lessons in blues, jazz and bossa nova guitar techniques. He was a finalist in Argentina’s “Profesorado en Guitarra” competition in 2008. Since 2009 he has been studying with maestro, “Profesorado en Guitarra” and has been studying for an advanced degree at IUNA (National Institute of Arts), department of music and sound art "Carlos Lopez Buchardo" where he has completed his first year of the Degree in Composition. In summer 2009 he also began studying the viola with teacher, Ruben Jurado.

Recently he has been performing a series of concerts entitled, "Concerts with friends” playing in theatres and local community centres together with his colleagues Emiliano Llera, Matias de Cabo, Martín Islas, Ajax Ordoñez and Florencia Nogueira.

Emiliano ller - Guitarist - Buenos Aires, Argentina

Emiliano Iller began his study of guitar in 1999, and in 2000 came to study Guitar and Music Theory with Julia Hernandez. That same year he joined a folk group presenting traditional music of the Canary Islands in Buenos Aires which is presented in numerous venues throughout the city and the countryside . In 2001 the folk group traveled to the Canary Islands for the "Fiestas de Mayo" and performed in various villages of the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Emiliano was also a member of the rock group "The Bitch" as guitarist, songwriter and arranger. During 2004-2005 the rock group performed at various bars and colleges in Greater Buenos Aires area. As a student at the Conservatorio Provincial de Música de General San Martin he has studied with maestro Nahuel Laviola. He also has pursued studies and activities in composition with electronic instruments following an initiative of President Ernesto Romeo and has formed a group “Sr. Presidente” which began to perform in 2009. Currently he is the process of forming a group to perform the folk music of Argentina. He lectures, teaches and continues to study contemporary guitar with maestro Juan Molina. Dúo de Guitarras Llere-Pracías made its performance debut in December 2009.
