New Moon, New Music: A series of 12 discussions and performances

To be held every new moon at the Music Island venue of Sea Turtle, Cedar, Second Life, beginning at 18:00 SLT.

The series "New Moon, New Music" is predicated upon the belief that, while there are several venues that support music of a more classical nature, there needs to be programatic attempt to present music by living composers and performers who are literally creating new music of a serious nature (i.e., not the "singer/songwriter" or pop ballads) on a regular basis.

Further, by having the composers and performers talk about it, we hope to dispel some of the myths that surround classical music, "modern" music, and creativity in this post-Post-Modern age.
