Event Description
Every Thursday starting 11 Feb at 4 PM SLT. We will watch a video (typically a philosopher speaking) on iTunesU or YouTube, and the discuss her or his ideas. I will be posting the first video on the blog and in-world.

Thanks for the invitation! I would love to be part of this. Unfortunately, Thursday night is when I attend a RL meditation session at a local Buddhist temple. I'll keep this on my calendar, so that on nights I don't go to meditation, I can join you. My RL is crazy busy right now - new job, new house.

I think that this is a great idea and I will try to be there. Thursday nights I sometimes coordinate a musical outreach program with Virtual Speaking (Arts and Letters evenings) Currently there is nothing for that Thursday but things are still in flux.

Most of the time this ought to work for me. I will try to make the first one -- things are a bit up the air as I am on a search committee and it will be meeting at the times I usually am free....
