Music Island co-productions with the Oval Theatre in Thira

Last year, a concert at Music Island was reviewed by Garth Raleigh, the arts/music critic for Gayhouse magazine, a Second Life publication marketed to SL's consirable gay community.  Through that lovely review (of a concert by Cedar Island's artist-in-residence, Benito Flores), Music Island came to the attention of Alan Bolera, owner of the Thira sims and current Chairperson of the GA (Gay Archipelago).  The GA is an association of LGBT themed sims that work together to publicize events that…

Will do. I needto make time to look thru the schedule. And find someone to go with. I enjoyed your economic musings.

Did I have economic musings? In another life I was a political staffer in Canada's New Democratic party and also occasionally wrote speeches for the president of the Canadian Labour Congress (and somehow it happened that I led a city wide labour protest shutdown in there).... so yes, I have been known to have an economic thought or two :-) . But mainly I have worked in non-profit management, and in recent years almost exclusively in the arts in both Canada and the US. I call it a "Bread and Roses" career.

Bur then again, this is a rare occasion to gossip DURINGa classical guitar concert, something never available to me, therefore tempting. That's why one need a concert-buddy.
Lexi talked to me about you, she keeps your organizational skills in high regard. No wonder, you are probably both the kind who write blogs at 5:05 in the morning.
Will love to chat more. Will not mention to you anymore the temprerature in FL, you'll take it as a spite on my part.

Not at all, I enjoy seasonal change and wouldn't want to live in anywhere as warm as Florida. I sometimes long for a sunnier and shorter winter though. Yes I think Lexi and I have some similarities.
